YASMIN MILLS
Eco-event organiser, environmentalist, author and designer Yasmin Mills began her career modelling, then working in production and presenting lifestyle, fashion TV.
After the birth of her daughters, she wanted to spend less time away on shoots. So having always had a passion for entertaining, she spent the following two decades writing columns/blogs about entertaining, for publications such as InStyle & Harpers Bazaar, her first book, a guide to entertaining called “How To Party”, and organising events herself for private and luxury brand clients, including Jade Jagger, Roger Vivier, Land Rover Jaguar, and Jo Wood organics.
After becoming frustrated by the amount of single use plastic, food and even flowers that were thrown away after events, Yasmin starter to search for greener ways to organise events and founded the sustainable lifestyle & retail brand Ecofêtes.
Ecofêtes sells affordable, well designed, responsibly produced, sustainable, up-cycled and vintage homeware.
Yasmin hopes to encourage people to buy responsibly produced beautiful eco-lux products that are made to last.
